winter western

We needed something to get excited about during the winter. But ironically, this idea was born in the middle of summer.

After the joys of a beautiful outdoor dinner party, I was distressed about what possible theme could bring that much joy indoors. One of my friends had suggested a Western theme, and after a bit of thought around what a Western menu even looked like, it was clear. Winter Western was the perfect twist on the Western trend to get my wheels spinning.

Furs, cowboy hats, a ton of candlelight, rich tones & a rich meal.

THE INSPIRATION

the invite

The invite always sets the tone and comes with an accompanying Dress Code mood board.

the table

A vintage speakeasy look was the goal - lots of candlelight, tone on tone browns, leather accents and a mixture of brass and silver. The table came together a mixture of unique thrifted items and key table setting pieces. The vintage napkin rings were one of my favourite touches and were an absolute find at a vintage market.
